Natasha is a duchess of a rather small kingdom in Europe's far north. The limitations of her social status frustrate her, but she's steadily proving her worth as a diplomat and as a strategist in Intelligence for the Crown.

NORMAL LIFE AU

TW FOR MENTIONS OF CHILD TRAFFICKING AND SLAVERY.
Natasha was orphaned in Russia at the age of 4, and was kidnapped from the orphanage two years later. She was trafficked around Eastern Europe and then around North America, until she managed to run away at 19. Today, she's an advocate against child exploitation and a human rights lawyer.

VAMPIRE AU

An atmospheric and moody setting, in a period piece. Probably the Middle Ages, the 1800s or the mid 20th century. Natasha started out as a thrall for other vampires, until she was turned against her will. She escaped to Alexei, who helped her at first, until she got sick of his bullshit and fled. Prefers to feed on violent and abusive people, and doesn't kill humans otherwise.

HUNGER GAMES AU

TW FOR MENTIONS OF CHILD TRAFFICKING AND SLAVERY.
Born in District 2, Natasha was one of many kids in a local orphanage, the Red Room, which trained its kids to become Victors and secretly spies among the tributes and the population of the Districts, on top of also being locally sex trafficked. She won the Hunger Games at the age of 15, and soon after her victory, was recruited by the resistance. She spent the next few years as a double agent, including throughout the Second Rebellion. She assisted in the rescue of Peeta and Johanna, being captured in the proccess, until she was rescued herself.

MC-EW COMPLIANT

Only partially compliant. In Endgame, Natasha sacrifices herself, but is brought back along with the previously dusted characters. Something is still missing, however, and Natasha is clearly not herself. The Soul Stone being returned helps, but she doesn't feel right for a long time, and it will take even longer before her body is actually recovered from that whole dying business.

RUSALKA

A siren-like creature of slavic mythology. Natasha was drowned by her husband, being reborn as a creature who exacts her revenge on abusive men by luring them into the water. And eating them.

THE OLD GUARD

Natasha is part of the Old Guard, a fellow immortal who enjoyed the life of a royal Romanov in the mid 1700s. She was close friends with Catherine the Great, and was frequently sent to the nobility of other countries as a spy, sending back extremely valuable information. Natasha was first killed when she was imprisoned after being caught riffling through documents she should not even know existed, aiding in the expansion of the Russian Empire, and died as she attempted to escape. She was killed a second time when she came back to life, but her captors never managed a third attempt, too shocked to stop her from running. Natasha made her way back home on her own, but was told in no uncertain terms to disappear, on grounds of being a witch.

GRISHAVERSEVERSE

TW FOR MENTIONS OF CHILD TRAFFICKING AND SLAVERY.
There are a few options! a) Nat was raised to become a spy for the Ravkan throne. Her upbringing was with the Red Room, so it has all the usual horrors. Eventually, she defected.
b) Nat was trafficked into the Menagerie, eventually escaping by killing her way out.
Either way, she became one of the bastards and criminals of the Barrel in Ketterdam, an assassin and a thief and a spy.
